The World Bank launched its latest Global Economic Prospect. This publication concludes that, as developing countries put the financial crisis behind them, they need to focus on tackling country-specific challenges such as achieving balanced growth through structural reforms. Nevertheless, there are also some risks to their broadly positive medium-term growth perspectives, including higher oil prices and inflationary pressures, and the financial stresses in high-income Europe.
